It’s frustrating to get a warning that you’re running low on storage space on your Apple iPhone or iPad. Because of this, updating your devices can be a problem. This problem can be solved quickly and easily, freeing up some room in the process.
How much room do you have? Take a look at Storage in Settings > General > iPhone (or iPad) Storage. There is a color-coded chart at the top that shows how much space particular app categories are eating up on your device.
You may get a list of all your apps, sorted by the amount of space they take up, by going to Storage. From there, you can look for programs you’ve never used before. Delete them by clicking on them. The App Store allows you to re-download any purchased app at no additional cost.
