The C drive is your primary hard drive that stores your operating system, along with other files.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Clean Slate<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember that completely uninstalling and reinstalling comes in the form of a clean slate &#8211; which means everything gets deleted. Do not forget to back up your files by going to the Start menu and typing in Backup Settings. From there, you can use Windows 10 feature, <strong>Back up using File History<\/strong> and use another drive to store anything you want on there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/help\/4026528\/windows-10-reset-or-reinstall\">Microsoft Support<\/a>, here are a few ways you can reinstall Windows 10:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;There are three options that allow you to reset your PC. If you\u2019ve tried just about everything else and your PC still isn&#8217;t running well, resetting it might fix the problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Option 1: Select&nbsp;<strong>Start<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>Settings<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&gt;<strong>&nbsp;Update &amp; Security<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>Recovery<\/strong>. Under&nbsp;<strong>Reset this PC<\/strong>, select&nbsp;<strong>Get started<\/strong>.&nbsp;Open Recovery settings.<\/li><li>Option 2: Restart your PC to get to the sign-in screen, then&nbsp;press and hold down the&nbsp;<strong>Shift key&nbsp;<\/strong>while you select the&nbsp;<strong>Power<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;icon &gt;&nbsp;<strong>Restart<\/strong>&nbsp;in the lower-right corner of the screen. After your computer restarts, select&nbsp;<strong>Troubleshoot<\/strong>&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>Reset this PC<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Option 3: Select Start&nbsp;, then&nbsp;press and hold down the&nbsp;<strong>Shift key&nbsp;<\/strong>while you select the&nbsp;<strong>Power<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;icon &gt;&nbsp;<strong>Restart<\/strong>&nbsp;to restart your computer into Recovery Mode. After your computer restarts, select&nbsp;<strong>Troubleshoot<\/strong>&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>Reset this PC<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Any of these three options will get you started, but once you&#8217;re in the process, follow the steps as they are presented to you.&nbsp;If none of the preceding three options work, you can use installation media to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/help\/4000735\">resinstall Windows 10<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Use installation media to reinstall Windows 10<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If your PC won&#8217;t start at all, you can use installation media to&nbsp;do a clean install of Windows 10.
