This Sunday, November 3rd, GPS disruptions will occur if you do not have your Apple devices updated to the latest software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-gb\/HT210239\">Apple Support<\/a>, <em>&#8220;Starting just before 12:00 a.m. UTC on November 3, 2019,* some iPhone and iPad models\u00a0introduced in 2012 and earlier will require an iOS update to maintain accurate GPS location. This is due to the GPS time rollover issue that began affecting\u00a0GPS-enabled products from other manufacturers on April 6, 2019. Affected Apple devices are\u00a0not impacted until just before 12:00 a.m. UTC on November 3, 2019.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The software version should be 10.3.4 or 9.3.6. To check if you have one of these numbers, simply open up the Settings app and go to General, then About.
