Andre Da Costa, an article author, posted an easy and effective way on how to do a <a href=\"https:\/\/answers.microsoft.com\/en-us\/windows\/forum\/all\/easy-guide-how-to-setup-and-perform-a-system\/14effa6e-3c45-41ce-a6f6-1e17b49f5e1e\">system restore on your Windows 10 OS<\/a> on the Microsoft Community Board. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Easy Guides are intended to make it easy for users to follow instructions regarding basic tasks in Windows 10,&#8221; He states. &#8220;Guides are a single info-graphic that you can follow from beginning to end.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Here&#8217;s Andre&#8217;s simple breakdown on how to format and construct a System Restore:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Press Windows key + R<\/li><li>Type: rstrui.exe<\/li><li>Hit Enter<\/li><li>Click the: &#8216;system protection&#8217; link<\/li><li>Click &#8216;Configure&#8217;<\/li><li>Select the &#8216;Turn on system protection&#8217; radio box.<\/li><li>Use the slider to adjust the amount of space you want to allocate to system restore<\/li><li>Click Apply then OK<\/li><li>Click &#8216;Create&#8217;<\/li><li>Enter a name for your system restore point then click &#8216;Create&#8217;<\/li><li>Wait while your first system restore point is created.<\/li><li>Click &#8216;Close&#8217; then &#8216;OK&#8217;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>He also shares how to complete a system restore by opening up the rstrui.exe program, which opens up the settings.
