This is just one of the many new features of macOS Mojave that pop up\u00a0when you take a screenshot. And there is a simple remedy for it! Change your settings so that the file will go straight to your desktop with no floater. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Press <strong>command + shift + 5<\/strong> <\/li><li>Go to <strong>Options<\/strong> <\/li><li>deselect <strong>Show Floating Thumbnail<\/strong> <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to take a screenshot on your Mac<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Press <strong>Shift + Command + 4<\/strong><\/li><li>Click and drag the area you want to\u00a0screenshot.<\/li><li>Your\u00a0screenshot\u00a0will be placed on your desktop.
