In their press release, certain units were sold right around the months of September 2015 and February 2017. The batteries in these units pose a possible risk of overheating, causing a safety concern. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To find out if your MacBook is included in this recall, you can visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/15-inch-macbook-pro-battery-recall\">Apple Support Recall<\/a> blog post and put in your laptops&#8217; serial number. The serial number can be found, according to Apple by looking to, <em>&#8220;see which 15-inch MacBook Pro you have. Choose About This Mac from the Apple menu in the upper-left corner of your screen. Confirm your model is &#8220;MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015).&#8221; If you have that model, enter your computer&#8217;s serial number below to see if it is eligible for this program.&#8221;<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Search for an authorized Apple Authorized Service Provider to set up an appointment to receive a replacement, free of charge.
