Problems with the BIOS and insufficient RAM are only two examples of things that can go wrong with a motherboard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is going to be dependent on the specific problem, but in the worst case situation, you are going to need a new motherboard to fix the issue. Here are a few things to look out for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-If the fan does not turn, make sure the power supply is working. Check to see whether the CPU or motherboard has a fan. Make sure the voltages from the power source to the motherboard are within acceptable limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Your PC may be overheating. Allow the computer to cool down before shutting it off. Remove the computer&#8217;s cover and turn it on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-The motherboard should be checked for drooping capacitors.
