Figuring out what’s triggering your computer’s Windows shut down problem can be complicated at times. Frustration doesn’t even cover how you’re feeling. It could possibly be a software or hardware issue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regardless, there are a variety of solutions you can consider, and one of them will most certainly solve the problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The power button would not switch off a device to prevent it from being switched off incorrectly when it is running. If the machine is frozen or has other issues, press and hold the power button for 5 to 10 seconds without releasing it. This is what’s called the force shutdown routine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. Type in the following command: shutdown \/s \/f \/t 0<\/strong><\/li>
  3. Click O<\/strong>K<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    This will immediately send your computer to shut-down mode. From there, you can just press the power button to turn it back on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
