While some of these programs are necessary, others could possibly hinder the performance. This is no problem, however, since the user can be in control of what apps start up at every login.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find the list of start up apps by going to the <strong>Start Menu &#8211; Settings &#8211; Apps<\/strong>. Then, click on Startup. There, you&#8217;ll find the apps. You can easily disable the apps by using the toggle to turn them off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/help\/4026268\/windows-10-change-startup-apps\">Windows 10 Support<\/a> also shares another way to find those background apps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;If you don\u2019t see the&nbsp;<strong>Startup<\/strong>&nbsp;option in&nbsp;<strong>Settings<\/strong>, right-click the&nbsp;<strong>Start&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;button, select&nbsp;<strong>Task Manager<\/strong>, then select the&nbsp;<strong>Startup<\/strong>&nbsp;tab. (If you don\u2019t see the&nbsp;<strong>Startup<\/strong>&nbsp;tab, select&nbsp;<strong>More details<\/strong>.) Select the app you want to change, then select&nbsp;<strong>Enable<\/strong>&nbsp;to run it at startup or&nbsp;<strong>Disable<\/strong>&nbsp;so it doesn\u2019t run.&#8221;<\/p><cite>Windows Support<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Disabling apps are quite easy, as are adding them. Simply go to the Start Menu and right-click on an app you want to start up automatically. Then, click on <strong>More<\/strong>, and <strong>Open file location<\/strong>, and save the shortcut.
