This also comes with support ending for Legacy Edge on March 9th, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will give enough time for businesses to transition to a new browser, such as the new version of Edge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apparently, ending support for Internet Explorer has been in the work over the years. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2020\/8\/17\/21372487\/microsoft-internet-explorer-11-support-end-365-legacy-edge\">The Verge<\/a>, a tech news outlet, says, <em>&#8220;The company first unveiled its new Edge browser back in 2015, codenamed at the time Project Spartan. It was the beginning of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2015\/3\/17\/8230631\/microsoft-is-killing-off-the-internet-explorer-brand\">end for the Internet Explorer brand<\/a>.
